<\/strong>Mit Nanokontakten werden ultrad\u00fcnne Chips wie mit einem Klett\u00adverschluss auf flexible Folien appliziert. In Kooperation mit dem Partner NanoWired wird die Technologie f\u00fcr Anwendungen in flexiblen elektronischen Systemen f\u00fcr die Medizintechnik erforscht und erprobt.

PanaMEA \u2013 ASIC f\u00fcr ein Miniatur-Pankreas-Implantat<\/strong>
In dem vom BMBF gef\u00f6rderten Projekt wird am IMS ein ASIC f\u00fcr ein Miniatur-Pankreasimplantat entwickelt. Ein einzigartiges Merkmal des Designs ist eine integrierte L\u00f6sung f\u00fcr die FOPP (Fraction of Plateau Phase)-Erkennung von Betazellenaktivit\u00e4ten. Durch einen intelligenten Ansatz werden die Entwicklungskosten auf ein Minimum reduziert; dadurch entsteht ein stromsparendes System, das f\u00fcr die hochentwickeltere \u00dcberwachung der Betazellenaktivit\u00e4t eingesetzt werden kann.

IMS CHIPS als Verbundpartner zur Herstellung integrierter Schaltungen der n\u00e4chsten Generation<\/strong>
Um die wachsende Nachfrage nach mehr Rechenleistung insbesondere im Bereich der vernetzten Ger\u00e4te bedienen zu k\u00f6nnen, m\u00fcssen bereits heute die Technologien zur Herstellung von H\u00f6chstleistungschips im 2-nm Verfahren entwickelt werden. Bis zum Jahr 2025 sollen die Voraussetzungen f\u00fcr die Massenproduktion geschaffen sein. IMS CHIPS unterst\u00fctzt die Arbeiten zur Etablierung des 2-nm Knoten im Rahmen des Ecsel-Projekts ID2PPAC.

PhotonQ \u2013 Messbasierter und skalierbarer Quantenprozessor<\/strong>
Im Projekt PhotonQ, gef\u00f6rdert vom BMBF, soll mit Universit\u00e4tspartnern ein messbasierter und skalierbarer Prozessor f\u00fcr einen photonischen Quantencomputer entwickelt und erforscht werden. Das Herz des Quan\u00adten\u00adprozessors ist ein integrierter photonischer Chip, der am IMS entwickelt wird. Dazu sollen neuartige Phasenschieber, integrierte optische Schaltungen und die optische Verbindungstechnik untersucht werden.
