Dort wurde eine dedizierte Pilotlinie f\u00fcr photonische Chips aufgebaut, die zeigt, wie sich bestehende Fertigungsinfrastruktur f\u00fcr neue photonikbasierte Anwendungen industriell nutzbar machen l\u00e4sst.<\/p><p>P4Q adressiert die entscheidende H\u00fcrde auf dem Weg zur Anwendung: Quanten-Photonik muss reproduzierbar und skalierbar werden \u2013 nicht nur \u201eeinmal im Labor\u201c, sondern verl\u00e4sslich in der Produktion. Dazu fokussiert der Pilot Standards, Produktionstechniken sowie Test- und Packaging-Ans\u00e4tze, die u. a. optische Verluste reduzieren, stabile Komponenten bei kryogenen Temperaturen erm\u00f6glichen und integrierbare photonische Schaltungen f\u00fcr Systeme wie Quanten-Sensorik oder sichere Kommunikationsnetze bereitstellen.<\/p><p>Im Konsortium arbeiten 29 Partner aus Universit\u00e4ten, RTOs und industriellen Foundries zusammen. Ein Schwerpunkt liegt auf Process Design Kits (PDKs) und Assembly Design Kits (ADKs), um Design, Fertigung und Montage st\u00e4rker zu verzahnen. <br \/>Finanziert wird P4Q je zur H\u00e4lfte durch EU-Mittel (25 Mio. \u20ac) und nationale Beitr\u00e4ge aus 11 L\u00e4ndern (25 Mio. \u20ac).
