IMS CHIPS<\/strong><\/p><p>IMS CHIPS durfte letzte Woche internationale Alumni der INSEAD Business School sowie Mitglieder des T\u00f6nissteiner Kreises in Stuttgart begr\u00fc\u00dfen. Die G\u00e4ste brachten nicht nur beeindruckende internationale Perspektiven mit, sondern auch gro\u00dfes Interesse an einem der dr\u00e4ngendsten Themen unserer Zeit: Wie kann Europa technologisch f\u00fchren?<\/p><p>Ein H\u00f6hepunkt des Besuchs war die Keynote von <strong>Dr. Michael F\u00f6rtsch<\/strong>, CEO der <strong>Q.ANT GmbH<\/strong>, mit dem Titel:<br \/><strong>\u201eBeyond Silicon \u2013 Photonics as the Key to Europe\u2019s AI Leadership\u201c<\/strong>.<br \/>Er unterstrich eindrucksvoll, dass Europa nicht darauf setzen sollte, den klassischen Halbleitermarkt aufzuholen \u2013 sondern die Chance hat, mit photonischen Prozessoren neue Ma\u00dfst\u00e4be im KI-gest\u00fctzten Computing zu setzen.<\/p><p>Die G\u00e4ste erhielten bei einer <strong>F\u00fchrung entlang unseres Reinraums<\/strong> exklusive Einblicke in laufende Entwicklungen rund um Mikroelektronik, Quantentechnologie und Photonik. Fachimpulse von <strong>Prof. Dr. Niels Quack<\/strong> und <strong>Prof. Dr. Jens Anders<\/strong> rundeten das Programm ab \u2013 beide sprachen \u00fcber die Rolle europ\u00e4ischer Forschung in der Transformation industrieller Wertsch\u00f6pfungsketten.<\/p><p>Im Fokus der Diskussionen stand auch die ber\u00fchmte <strong>\u201eValley of Death\u201c<\/strong> \u2013 die L\u00fccke zwischen Forschung und industrieller Umsetzung.
