Bis zur Praxistauglichkeit m\u00fcssen solche Computer allerdings wesentlich mehr Qubits verarbeiten und niedrigere Fehlerraten aufweisen. Ein Forschungsverbund unter Federf\u00fchrung von Prof. Stefanie Barz von der Universit\u00e4t Stuttgart entwickelt hierf\u00fcr nun einen photonischen Quantenprozessor, der die Ausf\u00fchrung von Quantenalgorithmen mit wenigen Qubits erlauben und perspektivisch eine schnelle Skalierung auf praxisrelevante Qubit-Zahlen erm\u00f6glichen soll.<\/p>\n<p>  Im letzten Jahr wurden f\u00fcr PhotonQ integrierte optische Bauteile aus Aluminiumnitrid (AlN) und thermische Phasenschieber mit Heiz-Elementen aus Titannitrid (TiN) entwickelt (siehe Bild Titelseite). AlN-Wellenleiter erm\u00f6glichen eine verlustarme und schnelle Phasenmodulation durch piezoinduzierte Materialverspannung. TiN-Heizer erlauben dagegen eine sehr verlustarme Phasenmodulation in Silizium-Wellenleitern aufgrund ihrer kurzen Bauform.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-50 elementor-top-column elementor-element elementor-element-4276ffe exad-glass-effect-no exad-sticky-section-no\" data-id=\"4276ffe\" data-element_type=\"column\" data-e-type=\"column\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-wrap elementor-element-populated\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-6022c29 exad-sticky-section-no exad-glass-effect-no elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"6022c29\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Parallel wird mit der Firma Vistec die Elektronenstrahllithografie f\u00fcr die integrierte Photonik optimiert. Daf\u00fcr wird der Einfluss der Layout-Definition, der Datenaufbereitung, sowie der Belichtung auf die optische Performance untersucht und optimiert.<\/p>\n<p>Im Rahmen des Projektes soll auch Expertise f\u00fcr die optische Aufbau- und Verbindungstechnik aufgebaut werden. Dazu wurden erste Glasfaser-zu-Chip-Verbindungen mittels 3D-gedruckter Polymerwellenleiter (Photonic Wire Bonds) hergestellt. Die daf\u00fcr ben\u00f6tigten Maschinen von Vanguard Automation stehen am ZAQuant der Universit\u00e4t Stuttgart und k\u00f6nnen vom IMS mitgenutzt werden.
