Mikroelektronik Stuttgart haben am 21. Juni eine Vereinbarung zur gemeinsamen Fertigung von Quantenchips unterzeichnet.<br>Bereits in zwei Jahren sollen Chips f\u00fcr Quantenprozessoren in Kleinserien produziert werden. Q.ANT bringt als f\u00fchrendes Quantentechnologieunternehmen&nbsp;das Know how bei der Quantencomputer-Chipfertigung in die Kooperation ein.<br>Zudem steuert das Start-Up Maschinen und Prozesstechnik in einem initialen Invest im Wert von 14 Millionen Euro bei. IMS CHIPS beteiligt sich mit seinem bestehenden Maschinenpark. Quantenchips gelten als zentrale Bausteine f\u00fcr Quantenprozessoren, die k\u00fcnftig beispielsweise im Umfeld von Hochleistungsrechenzentren einen Geschwindigkeitsvorteil bringen.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>IMS CHIPS bringt neben einer Reinraumproduktion&nbsp;mit entsprechenden Anlagen&nbsp;auch Experten mit Erfahrung in der Fertigung&nbsp;im industriellen Ma\u00dfstab in die Kooperation&nbsp;mit ein. Das Start-up investiert im Gegenzug&nbsp;in die Fertigungskapazit\u00e4ten und Anlagen&nbsp;ausgerichtet auf Quantentechnologien. F\u00fcr&nbsp;das IMS, das eine Stiftung des Landes Baden-W\u00fcrttemberg ist, bietet die Kooperation&nbsp;die M\u00f6glichkeit, die Forschungs- und&nbsp;Entwicklungst\u00e4tigkeit voranzutreiben.<\/p>\n<p>Die auf Basis von Licht arbeitenden Chips&nbsp;sollen \u00fcber die Quantenprozessoren hinaus&nbsp;k\u00fcnftig auch in unterschiedlichsten Branchen&nbsp;zum Einsatz kommen: Die Anwendungsfelder&nbsp;reichen von der Medizintechnik \u00fcber&nbsp;Sensorik und Telekommunikation bis hin zu&nbsp;Kryptografie, Logistik und Finanzbranche.<br>Im Gegensatz zu vielen anderen Quantencomputerl\u00f6sungen,&nbsp;die mit Tiefsttemperaturen&nbsp;bis -273 \u00b0C arbeiten, werden die photonischen&nbsp;Chips von Q.ANT bei Raumtemperatur&nbsp;betrieben. Dies vereinfacht die Integration&nbsp;in bestehende Rechenarchitekturen deutlich.&nbsp;Q.ANT setzt bei seinen Chips auf eine eigens&nbsp;entwickelte Technologieplattform mit dem&nbsp;Material Lithium-Niobat, das wegen seiner&nbsp;guten elektro-optischen Eigenschaften perfekt&nbsp;geeignet ist f\u00fcr den photonischen Ansatz&nbsp;zum Quantencomputing.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section
