Innovation guideline for small- and medium-scale companies

The "Idea to product" project details an example of an innovative process in small- and medium scale companies moving through the entire process and detailing the development and implementation of a concept to continue further training in this field.

The VIP e-learning module is located on the e-learning platform.

The experience of sucessful small- and medium-scale companies as well as the R&D know-how of the scientific universe and large-scale companies was systematically compiled and integrated into this computer aided training program for small- and medium-scale companies.

VIP is a training program that is adjustable on a modular basis and can be custom-designed to the requirements of employees from the small- and medium-scale sector covering the entire product development process. It is a "blended learning" approach combining web based training with actual hands-on experience training sessions using new information and communication media.

Project content at the IMS

• Creation and implementation of the e learning modules (VIP demo version)
• Comprehensive and descriptive presentation of complex content
• Visualization including graphics and animation
• Joint creation of learning media (content management system)
